Finding a community of like minded individuals who share your interest in a fandom, book series and even games can be relatively simple nowadays but with so many options to check out, thousands of fans and posts to sift through it can be incredibly overwhelming.
It’s difficult to overcome the nerves of reaching out, knowing that your comment or post will quickly slip beneath the waves of content posted on Reddit, Twitter or TikTok and disappear into the void.
What if you could just look at someone and know they shared your passion for your favourite video game...
...That they match your skill set in ranked leagues...
...And they’re fun and great to talk to.
With Epal.GG you can do just that and more.
Previously I introduced the world of EPAL, the services it provides to the gaming community and delved into some starter tips and tricks for anyone checking out the site. It occurred to me however, that I had not touched on what is arguably the most important part of the EPAL experience.
The People.
Whether a client, an ePal or both, the community they have formed is what brings everything and everyone together. This passion for the site and the service it provides can be seen in the daily posts on the Square, in the streams and chat rooms and even on the dedicated Discord servers where advice and help are offered and even events are run on an ad hoc basis – trivia, tournaments and more!
Providing a voice to the very people that make EPAL so special is very important to me as a fellow user, so I reached out to a number of users to find out what it is they love about EPAL and give them the opportunity to share their stories. "I found EPAL after I had to quit My job during the pandemic because of medical reasons. I am very grateful with EPAL because it allowed me to work from home doing something I enjoy which is gaming. Set up or join a chat room within the Live tab – you can use voice or text if you’re feeling shy.

Join or make a stream directly from EPAL. Streams on EPAL are like screen sharing with friends. No more lost messages or feeling like a faceless viewer. Interact and engage.
A Square to share, moments rare!
Post videos or pictures to share your hobbies, interests or that delicious lunch you had yesterday. Comment and like other posts, and view all the posts a user has made by visiting the Feed tab of their profile.
Post it fast, make it last!
Instant Posts can be sent every 30 minutes. While they are mostly used by ePal’s promoting their availability and services, it can be a way to say hi, share some news or even spark a conversation.
Of course, there are also the official EPAL Discord servers, which are a fun treasure trove of memes, chats, pictures and more. Reaching out is where it starts, introduce yourself and you’ll be integrated in the community in no time.

So, it’s easy to order a service from an EPAL?
Very easy! In fact, the hardest part is choosing from such an amazing selection of people!
With a variety of services, ePals and discounts you’ll be able to find someone for whatever service you have in mind. If you fancy some ranked League games, a friendly chat about life or you’re looking for some help starting out in World of Warcraft there will be someone for you. If by chance you don’t find the service, you’re looking for just ask around! It can be hard to include every single game and service, especially if it’s quite niche so using the platform and the discord channels to ask and request will get you the right ePal in no time.
As for placing an order it’s simple;
Login to your account and charge up your account. [1 Buff = 1USD] Be sure to top up on the Web-app to avoid a poor exchange rate caused by Play/Apple store fees.
Find the ePal offering the service you wish to order.
Talk to the ePal first. Make sure they’re available and use this time to see if you get along.
Place the order and confirm any details regarding where to chat, which servers to play on etc.
Enjoy yourself!

Two things to keep in mind whilst navigating EPAL, talking to users and placing orders;
If you’re recording or Live be sure to obtain consent first, don’t blind side people with clips and audio recordings. Some people don’t want to be put on Twitch, YouTube or TikTok, respect that.
Compassion and understanding. Whilst it can hurt to have someone not respond, reject communication or refuse an order it’s important to be mindful that everyone on the site is a human being and reserve the right to choose. No is a complete sentence, and this advice goes for both clients and ePals.
"As an EPAL, I really love when an order arrives to me, especially if it’s for my favourite game, Valorant, because you always meet new and interesting people. I like a lot when they want to talk about their day, new ideas or tips for the game or just joking and chilling around. There was this time where a client ordered me to play some league of legends with him and his friends, and once I got into the group game I could feel the great environment, they were laughing and doing jokes about their last game because one of them apparently played Soraka AD and just to go with the joke I decided to play Yuumi AP and all of them decided to go troll just as me, we were prepare to lost the game but with the progress of the game we were getting a lot of kills and at the end, we won the game and I couldn't contain my laugh during the game."
What is your experience on EPAL?
For me, EPAL was something I came across when looking for ways to earn a bit of extra cash doing what I love. Playing games! I’m a very shy individual but EPAL has encouraged me out of my shell by allowing me to engage and connect with people on my terms. The reassurance that I get from being able to know a little about someone before talking to them cannot be beat, and this is coming from someone who was so nervous about delivering their first order they nearly cancelled it. I’ve met a number of ePals and clients in my short time on the service and I wouldn’t change it for the world.
I have made new friends and even colleagues all over the world, people I would never have had the opportunity to meet and collaborate with if not for EPAL. The service has allowed me to connect with my own clients quickly and by the end of the first session I consider them a friend and genuinely look forward to speaking and gaming with them again.
I know there are reservations to be had about forming friendships on a site where you pay for someone to game or socialise with you. I had the same doubts, but in reality, it’s no different to having a friend pay for you to make them some art.
Regardless of the money, I care about everyone I meet on EPAL, and will check in on those I haven’t heard from in a while to make sure they’re ok and strike up friendly chats. Others do the same. Nobody on the service is viewed as a wallet.
Everyone matters.
